Who am I?

I’m Brittany and I’m the girl who just has to be different than everyone else. Born and raised in Chicago, I attended the University of Denver, graduating with a degree in Digital Media Studies. Some may call me nerdy, weird, free-spirited, scatterbrained, unique, quirky, creative, techie, albeit seemingly normal and I tend to agree. I’m a bit of a media, tech, and design junkie. I live on Mashable.com, scorn the use of Word Art under any circumstances, and geek out at the sight of new Apple products.

What’s My Deal?

Since graduating in June 2010 I’ve been living in Denver, scraping down to the last of my savings trying to figure out what I actually want to do with my life, before my bank account runs dry and I’m forced to move to the flatlands some people call the midwest. I’ve never really gone for traditional. The whole 9-5 deal, just doesn’t suit me, and is a big part of my resistance to find a so-called “real” job. Fast-forward through 8 months of confusion, denial and stubbornness, I have developed at least the beginnings of a plan. Ultimate Goal: Make a living off of social media. Blogging, Tweeting, Creating Kick-Ass YouTube videos, you name it! I will become the next web sensation. No, really I will.

Media, design and technology are all about being creative and innovative. Creative and innovative ideas are brought out by inspiration. I am inspired by original content and ideas. Things that stand out. Success stories of people who took a creative risk and succeeded. People who dared to be different.
